Jenny + John – Married! (Part One)

“Happy Birthday!” a bystander yelled toward the wedding-attire clad John and Jenny.  He laughed at himself and wandered off down 16th Street Mall, probably proud of himself for being clever to quip such a thing amidst all the cheers of “congratulations.”  Little did that guy know, it actually was Jenny’s birthday.

Jenny celebrated her birthday this year by marrying John in a ceremony at Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Denver.  Before the ceremony, we took time for a First Look and some portraits on 16th Street Mall.  You might remember John and Jenny’s engagement session, when they hoped for snow and ended up with a sunny beautiful day.  History repeated itself for their wedding on Saturday – they ended up with a 60 degree day that felt more like springtime than the wintery snow scene they anticipated.  Perhaps it didn’t go as planned, but what a fantastic plan B :)
